Our approach is grounded in internationally recognised frameworks — including the OECD Guidance for Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains and Rainforest Alliance (RFA) certification — and extends across four core areas.
Responsible Supply Chain & Environment
We hold ourselves to a clear standard: responsible sourcing means knowing exactly what happens at every stage of the supply chain, and acting on it. Our supply chain policy is grounded in the OECD Guidance for Responsible Agricultural Supply Chains. We uphold international labour standards, respect human rights without distinction, and consult communities before any operations that may affect them.
On the environmental side, we actively support our suppliers in reducing food loss and waste, adopting good agricultural practices, avoiding soil erosion, and improving energy efficiency. Our goal is a supply chain that is not only reliable — but resilient and future-proof.
Gender Equality
A better supply chain starts with a better workplace. Green Tide Italia operates a formal Gender Equality Plan that promotes equal access to employment, training, and career progression for all staff. A dedicated internal committee — equally split between men and women — oversees work-life balance initiatives, maternity support, and the removal of structural barriers to gender equity. We monitor gender representation in leadership and decision-making at all levels.
Certifications & Standards
Green Tide Italia is Rainforest Alliance certified. Our RFA Certification Management Plan enforces full traceability from origin to delivery. Certified products are kept visually separate, transported in sealed containers, and backed by rigorous documentation at every stage. Annual equipment calibration, a complaints register, and quarterly volume reporting ensure accountability throughout.
